About HandyBandi
We’re HandyBandi, a home repair company founded in Chicago in 2024. Our crew handles the small and mid-size work around Chicago houses and condos: a dripping fixture, a dented wall, a door that sticks, a TV that needs mounting. This page is for anyone who wants to know who’s coming through the door before they book. It’s also for the property manager or condo board that wants our papers first.
Who We Are
Vladyslav Vasiukhno started HandyBandi in 2024 as a separate LLC. Before that he worked on his own, as an independent contractor taking jobs through different apps and partnerships, and the LLC put that work on a proper legal footing. On May 1, Vladyslav offered a partnership to Nick Kuprikov. Two owners since then.
Today we have 4 technicians on staff and about 15 more we call in when the schedule fills up. Small on purpose, for now. The plan is to cover Chicago first and, after that, the rest of the US.

He runs daily operations, hires the technicians and watches their work. Nick is the calm one; he'd rather settle a problem than argue about it.
Our technicians speak English, Ukrainian, Russian and Polish. Nobody joins before passing these steps:

Flat-rate pricing
Most jobs are priced at a flat rate. Our price list shows starting prices marked “From $”, and your job gets its own figure in a written estimate before any work starts. That figure is what you pay, unless you ask us to add something on the day.

You buy the materials
You buy the materials. That way you know exactly what went into your walls and what it cost.

30-day workmanship warranty
Most work carries a 30-day workmanship warranty. And if something we fixed breaks at day 90 when it had no reason to, we come back and fix it at our own cost.

Where We Work
Our office is at 5412 N Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60640. It’s where the scheduling and paperwork happen, and it has no walk-in hours, so book online or by phone instead of stopping by. We answer calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Regular jobs get booked for a time that suits you, and an emergency visit at any hour carries a +$250 fee. Most of our jobs are inside Chicago city limits, and we also cover the nearby suburbs, with Skokie and Park Ridge among them.

Insurance, Reviews and Proof
HandyBandi is insured, and we issue a certificate of insurance (COI) to any building that asks for one. We don’t have a bond yet. If your condo board needs specific details on the COI, send them when you book and we’ll put them on the certificate.
